Settings
Logo
- You can choose to add a logo onto your microsite. If you are part of a company, their logo will show up under Your logo by default.
- You may change the default logo by clicking on the logo image and selecting either Choose from Library or Upload from device.
- You may add an additional logo through the + Logo button.
- If you wish to change the size of your logo, use the slider to adjust it until satisfied.
Theme
- Themes allows for microsites to be made more custom through cover images to be displayed behind the featured items through the Cover option. (Quick Tip: You may use hex codes to input a specific color or use the built in color wheel)
- Primary color will change the color of any buttons or highlights around the content.
- You may also make your Cover an image rather than a specific color. If you delete the default option and select Add cover, you can upload a file from several locations that can be used for the background.
- You may also implement a color scheme through the Theme section. This also includes the option of pictures that are shared by your OneMob administration to your organization.
Options
- When Reactions is enabled, viewers of the microsite will be able to react using the
icon. (Quick Tip: This has access to three emojis: a red heart ❤️ , a thumbs up 👍 , and the thinking emoji 🤔)
- Email notifications will be on by default. You will receive email notifications when your video message generates activity while the toggle is on. If you wish to not receive notifications from activities, you can toggle the notifications to be off. (Quick Tip: You will always be notified when people Reply to your video)
- You are able use Require Identification to View to make sure the viewers of your microsite have to identify themselves to view the microsite. When this is turned on, a contact verification pop up like the one above will require information such as a name, email address, or LinkedIn in order to view the microsite. (Quick Tip: If you require email for identification, an email will be sent to confirm the email using a 4-Digit code)
- If you are sending sensitive information in your microsite, you can add an additional layer of security by using the Edit allowed list under the Require Identification to View option. This makes the microsite only available to people with specific email addresses or domains.
- Expiration Date will make the microsite link stop functioning past a date of your choice.
- If you want to require a password to view the microsite, you can toggle the Password to be on. One will be randomly generated automatically below. This can be changed by clicking on the box and typing a password of your choice.
- Animated Thumbnail allows for the microsite to have either a moving gif or a stagnant image as the preview thumbnail displayed for your microsite. The one to the left is an example of what Animated Thumbnails look like when toggled on while the right is toggled off for the same microsite.
Contact actions
- By default, Reply and Share will be toggled on. Reply allows viewers to send a response back to you. Share allows for microsites to be sent to others by the viewers.
- Changing the settings here will only change this microsite's settings. The default can be changed for all microsites in Account Settings. (Quick Tip: You may click Open Settings to be taken there if you want to make that change immediately)
Personal Info
OneMob allows for users to create an Avatar image that will show on the top right of shared microsite. (Quick Tip: This will automatically be opened on the bottom of the microsite if the microsite is opened on a mobile device). This can be edited from the Personal Info section.
- The Personal Info section will automatically include the information you have provided in the Personal Data and Links tabs in Account Settings. Any changes you make from the microsite settings will apply only to the specific microsite you are working on. (Quick Tip: You may click on the Open Settings link to access settings if you want to change the default)
- Organization is one part of the general information not included in Account Settings. This will be filled in if you are part of an organization on OneMob automatically. You may also write an organization in if you are using OneMob without your company.
- You can choose if you want to share your socials on this microsite by using the toggle next to the specific contact information. (Quick Tip: Nothing will show if the spaces are left blank even if the toggle is on)
Footer
- A Footer allows relevant links to be added to the bottom of your microsite. You may add this by typing in the text you want to show in the Heading text box and adding the link from the merge field button on the right. Any additional links can be added by clicking + Add Link.
Goals
- You may add up to three specific Goals for your microsite from the Goals tab.
- Visitors who click on the items labeled as goals will be moved to the Converted stage in your Performance funnel.
- This is most useful for assessing the effectiveness of your microsites. If you want more information about Goals and the Converted stage, you may check out our Metrics & Analytics Tutorial video here.
Once you have completed your microsite, you may save the settings as a microsite template by clicking the Microsite icon on the top right and then choosing Save as template. Alternatively, you may also select Apply template to choose one of the templates you previously made so that you save building time on every microsite.
Before you save, you may click the eye icon to preview your microsite as if you are a visitor. Then, you may save your microsite and be done.
