At the moment, only Admins have the option to set automatic Expiration Dates and/or Passwords on links/emails. If you are an Admin follow the steps below to turn either option ON for your organization. If you are a OneMob user and would like to see how an Expiration Date and/or Password looks when creating/sending your links/emails click here.
Set Automatic Expiration Date and/or Password Settings
- Click Admin Panel in the menu on your left and select Group Admin in the drop down OR click here
- In the menu tab select Settings
- In the Settings tab select Security
- Toggle ON the respective Security setting you would like to automatically appear for all links/emails
- Expiration Date has an extra option where you can select to have the link/email expire within 7 days OR 14 days. Click on the time period that is currently there and a drop down will appear where you can select your option for the organization. Make sure to click Save Changes.

- Click the blue Save Changes button at the bottom to have changes take effect.
- To test this out, you will need to refresh your browser after you Save. All users who are currently logged will also need to refresh their browser to see the changes take affect.
Once an email is sent out using the OneMob email composer the password will automatically be included in the email.
- Note: We do not include a notification at this time for when the content will no longer be available to the recipient. Include a note in the email if you'd like to notify the recipient they will no longer be able to access the content after 'X' day and time.

Here is how the email composer will look when a user opens the Email composer:
- Click on Settings to view the automatically randomized password that was generated and the expiration date for when the OneMob page that was included will no longer be available.
Here is how the link composer will look when a user opens the Link composer:
- Keep in mind that when you use Copy Link or Copy Link and Image the password designated to that link will automatically be pasted in to the email provider, text message, social media direct message etc. The user will still need to copy the password and paste in the password authentication window that appears after they click on the content thumbnail.
