With OneMob and MS Dynamics, you have the capability to send an email or link from OneMob and have the activities created from that email or link be tracked back into MS Dynamics. This can be very useful when trying to gauge the development of a sale by being able to view if the content being sent to your contact or opportunity is getting traction.
Note: Be aware that if you would like activities to be tracked back to a specific contact in MS Dynamics, the contact needs to also be a part of your contacts in OneMob. Click here for how to add a contact to OneMob. If you would like to add multiple contacts at once click here and follow the steps under "Add Multiple Contacts at Once Using Multiple Contacts Button".

Activity Tracking for Emails
- Create an email in OneMob
- In the Recipients field, input the contact(s) for which the email will be sent to
- Note: Look at the scenario table below for where the activities will be tracked back to depending on what is inputted in the Recipients and Opportunity Name/ID fields.
- In the Opportunity Name/ID field, type the name of the opportunity from MS Dynamics. A drop down should appear with the name of your opportunity. Click the name and it will fill the Opportunity Name/ID field with that specific opportunity.
- If you do not want to include an opportunity simply leave the field blank!
- Note: If you do include an opportunity, the opportunity will always have precedence when tracking activities. This means all activities, from all contacts, will be tracked back to that opportunity.
- Edit the email to your specifications
- Once the email is complete, click Send Email
- Activities will be tracked to the specific contact(s) or opportunity in MS Dynamics. To view those activities in MS Dynamics click here for how to do so.
